Missions Day is for all women aged 16 years+. We come together to honor and bless our PMN missionaries and their familes, give financially to missionaries and missions projects, and to fellowship and provide resources for the women and girls of the Potomac Ministry Network.
Our speaker is Mark Lehmann, PMN Assistant Superintendent and Missions Director.
Pastor Mark Lehmann has been blessed to be married to Dee for the past 34 years. He is the father of two wonderful young men, David and Matthew and 2 daughters by marriage, Renee and Brandi. Pastor Mark and Dee are especially excited about their 3 grandchildren, 5 year old Evangeline and 3 year old Bennett and 1 year old Scarlett . For the past 23 years he has had the honor of pastoring a great group of kingdom minded people at Cornerstone Church in Bowie, Md. The church is made up of people from more than 50 nations of the world who have a heart to Lift up Jesus, Grow in Him and Touch Our World. He also serves as Assistant Superintendent and District Missions Director for the Potomac Ministry Network. His desire is to see the body of Christ come together to accomplish the work of God's kingdom in the United States and around the world.
Melanie Wilder will lead us in worship.
First Lady Melanie Wilder, affectionately known as Lady Mel, was born on September 1, 1983 in Valdosta, Georgia. She is the wife of Juan M. Wilder, Sr., Pastor of New Life Worship Center in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Pastor Juan and Lady Mel have been married for 14 years with two handsome sons, Juan Jr. (8) and Jacob (3). Faithful to the God-given mandate and vision of the ministry, Lady Mel assists her husband in a variety of duties. She shares his heart and enthusiasm for promoting unity and showing “love in action” beyond the walls of the church, both locally and globally.
Lady Mel firmly believes in the principles of praying and studying the Word of God. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology and continued with her Masters Degree at Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.
Lady Mel accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and the Lord gifted her to play the keyboard and drums before the age of 10. She has served as Minister of Music at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Valdosta, GA. She also served as Minister of Music and Youth Minister at Christian Fellowship Church in Warner Robins, GA. Lady Mel currently serves as Worship Arts Pastor and leads the Ladies of Virtue and Excellence (LOVE) Ministry at New Life Worship Center where she inspires all women to be all they can be for the Lord no matter their age, creed or ethnicity.
Lady Mel is a God fearing woman who loves the Lord, her husband and children. Above all, Lady Mel desires to please the Father and give Him all glory and honor.
Registration is $20/person on or before July 15. July 16 through noon of July 20, registration is $25/person. There is no on-site registration for this event, and no refunds.
