CINDY ZELLO

Cindy has had the honor and privilege of serving for 32 years along-side her husband, Mike, in the ministry of Teen Challenge. They are appointed U.S. Missionaries with the Assemblies of God and serve individuals whose lives are shattered by drug and/or alcohol addiction. She is co-founder of Teen Challenge North Central Virginia and the Executive Director of Beauty for Ashes Women and Children’s Home. She holds a degree in Human Services and Counseling and serves her community on various levels through her formal education and life experience in the field of addiction.

It’s at the Beauty for Ashes Women and Children’s Home that Cindy lives out the passion God breathed into her soul almost twenty years ago. She has been entrusted by God with the care of mothers who struggle with addiction and their children.  In following the Lord’s guidance, Cindy is reaching two generations for the Lord and is witnessing the true healing power of God with the freedom from so much hurt, shame and bondage.

Cindy and Mike have enjoyed thirty-two years of marriage and have three married children, three adorable grandsons, and one beautiful granddaughter. Her husband and family are her greatest joys and time spent with them makes life all the more special. She loves everything “outdoors” and finds her greatest moments of tranquility when hiking, hunting, gardening, resting and reading in her portable hammock or just sitting by a campfire.

ANGIE GRANT

Stan and his wife Angie have pastored Clover Hill Assembly of God in Midlothian, Virginia for the last 19 years.  Angie serves on staff as the Family Resource Director as well as the Executive Director of Clover Hill Christian Academy. She also plays an active role as Advocate for The Forgotten Initiative, an organization that mobilizes the body of Christ to be involved in orphan care through local foster systems.

Angie is passionate about the power of family.  Her greatest joy, outside of Jesus and Stan, are the four that call her Mom - three biological and one through the gift of adoption.  Angie is a firm believer that when our homes are strong we create room in our lives to strengthen vulnerable families in our community.   She believes there is no greater joy than living outside of ourselves.
