The Appalachian mountain retreat center in the Christian Retreats Network spans 60 acres of gorgeous mountain vistas on the northern tip of Virginia, just under 2 hours from Baltimore or Washington DC.

Pine Creek features year-round recreation and accommodations for up to 330 overnight guests. Our retreat packages include everything your group needs to have a successful ministry event: choice of heated and air conditioned lodging style, a private meeting space with complimentary A/V equipment, buffet dining and recreation. Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center

The Baltimore & Washington DC region conference center in the Christian Retreats Network is located 2 miles off I-81 on Route 11 (Williamsport Pike) in Falling Waters, West Virginia.

Potomac Park features year-round recreation and accommodations for up to 400 overnight guests. Our retreat packages include everything your group needs to have a successful ministry event: choice of motel or dorm style lodging, a private meeting space with complimentary A/V equipment, buffet dining and recreation. Add some excitement to your event with our new deluxe 18-hole mini golf course or disconnect your group by taking them through our new walking trail; where guests will truly feel close to God’s creation.

Potomac Park offers your group that quiet and peaceful atmosphere where guests can enjoy God and His creation as well as recreation and fellowship with friends and family. For the last 80 years, our mission has been to serve the Christian community through off-site retreats, summer camps, and community events.

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Rev. James Boyce, II

Director, Camp Ministries

Jim was born and raised in the Potomac Network, under his father who served the network for years, Pastor James R.T. Boyce Sr. Jim graduated from University Valley Forge in 1994 with a degree in Bible/Music. His first pastoral job was in Johnston RI, as a schoolteacher and worship leader. Jim returned to the Potomac Network as Youth and Music Pastor at First Assembly of God (Laurel, MD) under Pastor Nelson Brenner.

There he served on the Youth Pastor Committee under John Kenney and John May. Seven years later he moved on to Trinity Assembly of God under Pastor Tino Cione, where he served as Music Pastor, Youth Pastor, Children’s Pastor, and Choir Director, and worked in media and sound. He’s married to Melanie Boyce and they have two children; their son, James III, and daughter, Alexandra with two dogs Crush (shih tzu) and Nugget (chihuahua).

Jim has served at our camps as Sports Director for about 26 years and is excited to join the team to assist in our continued success!
